Her Stepbrothers are Aliens

Wow! This book surprised me! Her Stepbrothers Are Aliens is the second book I have read by Trinity Blacio. The first- Her Stepbrothers' Demands hooked me on her writing and now I am a fan!
Lea's mom just got married to a wonderful guy who turns out to be an alien. His sons, Gunner and Rogue, come to see Lea and claim her as their Neba-their mate. She is skeptical but she also cannot explain her feelings for them either. Lack of females on their planet has forced the warriors to look to other worlds. There is war looming on their planet and if the warrior's are mated, they are instantly stronger.
I loved this book and would love to tell you everything that I loved about it, but it will spoil the discovery for you! I found it so intriguing and it definitely left me with wanting more! I wanted to know more about their planet and abilities they have. I definitely wanted more sexy menage scenes and to learn more about the changes Lea was going through. The characters were instantly likeable. I also enjoyed all the secondary characters and am hoping that we get additional books with them in this world. This was a fun, satisfying read!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Little did Lea Clark know that when her mother fell in love and married an alien that she would end up with her new alien step-brothers claiming that she was their mate and claiming her. It’s all a lot for Lea to come to terms with and in the story we get to see how different the alien race is from humans when it comes to relationships and family. Back on the alien’s planet they have a shortage of females so they have begun visiting earth to look for their mates and somehow Lea and her friends and family have gotten caught up in it all.
I have to say this is one of those books that’s almost hard to admit you liked or even read at all. The writing is rather simple and the story a bit cheesy but when it was said and done I found it all rather entertaining. Sometimes a bit funny with the differences in culture and highly erotic to have two good looking males interested in Lea.
There were a few errors here and there in the book but overall a fun, quick read.

After yesterdays bad opinion, I today feel slightly different about the book. I guess I just needed to step away from it and look at it from a fresh perspective.
Although I still feel the women's personal opinion and wills in this story are repressed, the plot was not so bad.
The story is as described in blurb. Lea's mother married an alien warrior, who luck would have it, also has two sexy sons. Now, when reading the story you'll have to understand that the warriors culture and traditions is very different from Earths. From where they come from the warriors have mates with submissive personalities. It's no wonder, that when Lea finds out her new stepbrothers are her mates, it becomes hard for her to bent her will to their traditions.
What I liked in this story are definitely heroines friends and that there was a hint of action. Still, because I am a woman with a strong will and believes, I cannot rate the book with more than -3 stars.
Safety-gang: It's a safe read.
